Call for AbstractsIf you will be presenting a poster at the symposium, you must submit an abstract on the TSR&TP symposium website by FRIDAY, MARCH 20, 2009. Refer to the Abstract Instructions sheet for details. If we receive your abstract after the deadline, we cannot guarantee that it will appear in the symposium program. Abstracts will be compiled into a symposium program book, and your poster number will be the same as the page number of your abstract. The symposium program and poster sessions will be organized by research area. TSR&TP LogoYou may use the TSR&TP logo on your posters at the symposium. There are several downloads available.Poster SessionsThere will be three poster sessions at the Symposium: 1. Friday Informal Session, 5:30 - 7:00pm All participants should have their posters up by 5:30pm on Friday, and posters will remain on the same board in the same room until the end of the last session on Saturday. This informal session allows participants to casually view posters before the formal sessions on Saturday. 2. Saturday: 1st Formal Session, 11:15am-12:00pm Each participant will be assigned a formal poster session to be determined by the page number of their abstract in the symposium program. Abstracts on odd-numbered pages will be assigned to the first session, and the even-numbered abstracts will be presented in the second session. Presenters will stand next to their poster during their assigned session to answer questions about their research. 3. Saturday: 2nd Formal Session, 12:00-12:45pm This will be the same as the first formal session, except that presenters with even-numbered abstracts will be standing next to their posters. PosterboardsPosters will be pinned to double-sided free standing 4 ft x 8 ft tackboards. Two posters will share each side of the board, so your entire poster must fit within a 4 ft wide x 4 ft tall area. Please bring your own push pins.
