Abstract Instructions

 

Please prepare the following information for your abstract before submitting it on our website.
The deadline for submission is Friday, March 20, 2009.

1. Research Area
Please choose one of the following areas for your TSR&TP project:

Ecotoxicology
Environmental Fate
Epidemiology/Health Effects
Mechanisms of Toxicology
Nanotoxicology
Policy
Pollution Prevention/Green Chemistry
Remediation/Bioremediation
Risk Assessment

2. Abstract/Poster title

3. Students/Postdocs working on the project

Provide name, title (undergrad, master's, doctoral, postdoctoral), & any degrees (master's or doctoral degrees only)

4. Faculty working on the project (name, academic degree & title)

5. Department & Campus Affiliation for each project participant

If all participants are in the same department, list it once on a line after the names. Otherwise, list the department and campus after each group. Campuses should be listed as UC plus city (UC Los Angeles, UC Berkeley, UC Santa Cruz, etc.).

6. Abstract

Describe the poster being presented briefly and in general terms using non-technical language. You will be allotted one page for your entire abstract, including all the information above. If one page is exceeded, your abstract will be edited to fit. Do not include diagrams in the abstract, simply give an overview of the research being presented in the poster.
