Presentation Skills Class Offered at Spring Symposium in Riverside

Oral communication is a key skill for success as a professional. Unfortunately, scientists and engineers tend to learn this skill the hard way (through trial and error), and often have difficulty presenting information to groups other than their peers. In this brief class, we will examine the anatomy of a presentation, common pitfalls, and approaches for maximizing effectiveness. All TSR&TP students are encouraged to attend!

This class will be given by TSR&TP Director John Knezovich at 5pm on Friday, April 11, 2008 at the Mission Inn, just prior to the informal poster session and reception for the Research Symposium. No preregistration is required.
